Laura Lea, definitely for me!
March 9, 2012
Well the first weekend in March was lovely!
First a beautiful meal at Rockliffe Hall (@RockliffeHall)and a wonderful man put a stunning rock on my finger and then a fab trip to Newcastle for bridal shopping with good friends (don’t worry, the bride wasn’t me!).
We trawled all over Newcastle trying to locate all sorts of ideas for the wedding (next year). And on our travels a specific shop stands out from the rest…
Laura Lea Boutique is a stunning store which stocks prom/bridesmaid attire and it is fabulous. It is located in a beautiful building in Old Eldon Square and it stocks some stunning items. The young lady who helped us was called Jenny Laura Briggs, the owner of the business and she was fab and showed a real entrepreneurial charm. In her early 20’s she is a promising poster girl for blossoming ideas and making them a reality through hard work and perseverance. Her lovely mum Helen also aided in our bridal endeavour and she too had the same calibre of customer service and made us all feel very welcome.
The store is beautifully made up, bright and airy with crisp white walls and high ceilings. The main room consisted of minimalist hanging space and it was used to its advantage. The rails contained colour coded stunners of differing styles, lengths and tastes and he designs that are stocked can even be ordered in different colours and additional items like sashes can be changed too and this can all be seen there and then via their swanky Apple Mac laptop! The room off the main showroom contained the changing area but also more delectable fashion delights to feast your eyes on. I’d say if you are looking for bridesmaid dresses, prom outfits or even something to make you feel super wow, pop into Laura Lea Boutique. Plus discounts can be made when multiple items are ordered. Bonus!
The store is so much better in person, so if you are in Newcastle centre, pop in. There is an on-line webpage which gives details on some items and the full address and contact details of the store. The store also has Twitter (@LauraLeaBoutiq) and Facebook, so get liking and tweeting!
I would also like to thank Leigh and June from Leigh Hetherington Bridal (the bridal boutique upstairs, and Jenny’s business partner) for their help and allowing us to view their store. The website gives more information and the store has Twitter and Facebook.
Thank you Jenny and Helen, Leigh and June for a lovely afternoon.
Much love
